SolarTyle

Solar roof tiles and Tesla Powerwall

Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer

SolarTyle is now a Tesla Powerwall Certified Installer. Bring integrated solar roof tiles and home battery storage into one property-specific plan: generate electricity within your roof covering, then store suitable surplus energy for later use.

Generate, store and use your solar electricity

SolarTyle provides integrated solar roof tiles for suitable new builds and roof replacements. Tesla Powerwall is a separate home battery product. A combined proposal considers the roof layout, predicted generation, electricity use, electrical connection and battery location together.

Powerwall can store energy from solar or the grid, while its operating modes and app help you manage stored energy. The suitable model, inverter arrangement and settings depend on your installation; we do not assume every existing inverter or battery setup is compatible.

  • Integrated solar roof tiles rather than a raised bolt-on array.
  • Battery storage to use more of your solar electricity later in the day.
  • Energy monitoring and control through the Tesla app.
  • A coordinated roof and electrical specification for your property.

SolarTyle is not Tesla Solar Roof

If you are searching for Tesla solar tiles or a Tesla Solar Roof alternative, it is important to distinguish the products. SolarTyle manufactures its own integrated solar roof tiles; they are not Tesla-branded solar tiles. Tesla Powerwall stores electricity and does not replace your roof covering. SolarTyle's Powerwall installer status does not mean Tesla manufactures or certifies SolarTyle roof tiles.

Compare the actual roof appearance, product certificates, roof build-up and installation scope before choosing a system. Our real SolarTyle case studies show roof installations; a pictured roof does not establish that a Powerwall is installed there.

What a combined quotation should cover

Your proposal should identify the roof and storage specifications separately, so you can compare like for like:

  • Solar roof: the proposed tile layout, installed capacity, predicted generation, roof works and access requirements.
  • Battery storage: the specified Powerwall model, capacity, proposed location and compatible electrical configuration.
  • Installation: electrical connection, any required permissions, commissioning and the equipment included in the price.
  • Backup: whether backup is included, the equipment and circuits covered, and the limits of the proposed design.

Backup provision, achievable savings and charging schedules depend on the specified system, your tariff and electricity use. No fixed saving or whole-home backup duration is promised.

The SolarTyle product and workmanship warranty is separate from Tesla's Powerwall warranty. Your quote and product documents should identify the applicable terms for each component. Read our like-for-like solar roof cost guide before adding battery storage to a comparison.
