Solar Panel CAD Drawings and DWG Details

Maintained by: SolarTyle Files: 8 DWG downloads Last reviewed: 9 August 2026

This library supports early design coordination for architects, engineers, roofing contractors and installers. The integrated-roof drawings cover typical eaves, panel, ridge, boundary and layout information; the carport files are listed separately so the two design intents are not confused.

Use the Drawings as Reference Details

These downloads are reference resources, not project-specific construction approval. Before issue or installation, the appointed design team should confirm the latest applicable detail against the selected SolarTyle product, current instructions, structural design, roof build-up, fire strategy, electrical design, Building Regulations and site conditions.

Only files whose names include REV2 are described as revision 2 below. No revision is inferred for the remaining files. Contact SolarTyle technical support if the project requires a current detail, a different file format or confirmation of a specific interface.

  • Keep the original file name and revision reference in the project document register
  • Check dimensions and interfaces against the current SolarTyle data sheet
  • Coordinate roofing, structural, electrical and fire requirements before construction issue
  • Record project-specific departures rather than altering a reference detail without review

For specification support, visit the SolarTyle architect hub and review the available standards and certificates. A project team can also send drawings to SolarTyle for an initial system discussion.

Coordinate the Detail Before Procurement

Early coordination helps the roof layout, module field, surrounding tiles, access and electrical routes form one workable package. Use the drawings to start that conversation, then obtain project-specific confirmation before relying on a detail for construction.

Real success stories from our solar clients

Ron Harris - SolarTyle Customer

I needed a new roof and wanted solar but definitely not panels. Tyle were the only company that took an interest and what a good decision I made. They handled everything with complete professionalism from survey, scaffolding, skip hire, installation and commissioning. It was all completed on time. Even my wife was impressed. I am now enjoying my new hobby of monitoring solar energy. Highly recommended.

Lydia Dunham - SolarTyle Customer

Ian and Genci have been professional, informative and reliable throughout the whole process. We needed to completely re-roof our existing roof as well as the extension, so this was a really cost-effective option. We are really pleased with the whole aesthetic and look forward to seeing how much we can save on our electricity bill throughout the next year.
